Oh I KNOW the one whom I admire and whose pictures I like. Just have to convince him that his pictures are good! smile

maybe you’ll introduce me to them someday

          March 26, 2014
          1. cjb321

I think you would like him a lot. He’s very nice and underestimates his ability to produce works of art. I intend to convince him that I would take excellent care of his wonderful works. smiles

what kind of pencils did you use for this?

    April 27, 2014
    1. EZWAYZ

I don’t really remember, most of my sketches involve regular n. 2 lead pencils, general brand charcoal pencils (incl. white), a full set of fabercastell drawing pencils, and a full set of england brand drawing pencils (2B, 4B, 6B, HB…). I didn’t get any of these brands for a specific reason other than needing pencils and they were available.
      .
I also use paper sticks and foam tipped sticks for blending, although I’ve found that kleenex and make-up removal pads work too. Occasionally I save the shaving from sharpening pencils and put them in a piece of cheese cloth (balled up) and use it to leave a leaded/dark surface…hope that helps. Honestly, I use whatever I have at hand.

I was just curious of what makes it that orange-brown color. That’s all very interesting though, thanks

lol, that? the drawing is good but I thought the white background was boring so I did a yellowish fade on the scan background using picasso

I forgot, I also have a full set of prismacolor pencils but I rarely use them…lazy I guess
